Sabrina Bonini
Has worked exclusively in the field of Intellectual Property since 2000, with extensive experience representing national and multinational companies of various sectors and sizes in strategic litigation. Her practice covers matters involving trademarks, patents, industrial designs, copyrights, domain names, unfair competition, counterfeiting, diversion of clientele, trade secrets, know-how, and trade dress.

She also advises clients on transactional and advisory matters related to contracts, licensing of intellectual property assets, data protection, information security, fraud, unfair competition, and strategies for managing and protecting IP portfolios in Brazil and abroad.

She holds a postgraduate degree in Intellectual Property Law from PUC-RJ (2003), a postgraduate degree in Entertainment Law from UERJ (2017), and an MBA in Intellectual Property: Controversies and Strategies from FGV/RJ (2005).

Alain Biron
Has worked exclusively in the field of Intellectual Property since 2005. His expertise covers all aspects of trademark protection and enforcement in Brazil and abroad, including trademark selection and clearance, domestic and international prosecution, counterfeit monitoring, IP transactions, and copyright enforcement. He also has extensive experience representing clients before State and Federal Courts in cases involving trademark infringement and misuse, trade dress, unfair competition, anti-counterfeiting measures, contract disputes, and arbitration proceedings concerning domain names.

He holds a postgraduate degree in Intellectual Property Law from PUC-RJ (2006), an MBA in Foreign Trade and International Business Management from FGV-RJ (2005), and a Law degree from PUC-RJ (2002). In addition, he has completed several extension courses in the field and is a frequent participant in national and international conferences and seminars.

Is a member of the Brazilian Intellectual Property Association (ABPI), the National Association of Lawyers and Jurists Brazil-Israel (ANAJUBI), the International Trademark Association (INTA), and the Brazilian Bar Association, Rio de Janeiro Section (OAB/RJ).

David Nilton Pereira de Lucena
With more than 30 years of Industrial Property experience, David is responsible for drafting, adapting and preparing patent, utility models and industrial designs applications; preparing responses to office actions and appeals against rejection decisions; preparing search reports; patentability analysis of inventions; infringement analysis of inventions and technical assistance in Intellectual Property lawsuits.
The broad experience as a former patent examiner and as an IP expert, has allowed David to strong ties with the BPTO and other patent offices and has given him insider’s edge when drafting and prosecuting patent applications in various technologies, including innovations relating to energy and petrochemicals, biotech, optics, mechanical and electrical, chemical, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and telecommunications.
David holds a graduation degree in mechanical Engineering from Gama Filho University in 1979. He has also taken several extension courses in the area and is a regular participant in Congresses and Seminars in Brazil and abroad.
David is affiliated to the Brazilian Intellectual Property Association (ABPI), and the Brazilian Industrial Property Association (ABAPI).
